Are you a skilled service delivery specialist with experience in the vendor/customer space? have you worked in a large organisation that has substantial IT outsourcing arrangements? do you have well-developed service delivery and relationship management skills and are interested in working at a strategic level with your clients (both internal and external).
Firstly this job is not a procurement or Service Delivery Manager role. You will not have staff management responsibilities and there are no budgetary responsibilities. You will not have to be involved in RFI/RFP negotiations or developing SLA's as they have recently been renegotiated.
This job is a dedicated vendor management role, requiring the ability to build and keep relationships positive within the demanding confines of a major service delivery contract. Internal relationships are also key in this position. There is an operational side to this role where you will be involved in monitoring and reporting.
An ability to work at a strategic level is also key for this role with the vision to see ways to improve to current processes. The operational basis for your role will be managing service delivery from the vendors, SLA monitoring and reporting, and managing existing contracts.
You will be reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, who has overall responsibility for the whole Service Delivery department.
